Fighting Hunger Across Staten Island

Our Food & Nutrition Program serves as a critical safety net for individuals facing food insecurity, providing access to nutritious food through pantry locations, a soup kitchen, and mobile distribution across Staten Island.

Our work extends to advocating for policies and initiatives that confront the underlying conditions driving food insecurity.

  • A woman in a hospital kitchen serves food to a man in a gray hoodie. Food trays with salads, bread rolls, and other dishes are on the counter.

Over 5 million meals are distributed annually

    Choice is Power

A grocery-store–style model allows individuals and families to choose foods that reflect their cultural traditions, dietary needs, and personal preferences.

  • Black circle with two horizontal white lines inside, resembling a pause or equal sign.

    Access Without Barriers

Through fixed pantry sites, mobile distribution routes, and community partnerships, the program works to reach as many neighborhoods as possible across Staten Island.
