More Than a Meal. Support That Builds Community.

For Maria, a longtime pantry visitor and Staten Island senior living on a fixed income, Project Hospitality became more than a place to access food.

As grocery and household costs rose, our pantry helped relieve the daily financial pressure of affording necessities.

This support provided stability and community. Maria started attending town meetings, volunteering, and checking in on neighbors facing food insecurity themselves.

Maria had turned to the pantry for help, and once her needs were met, she began showing up for that community herself.

“It is so nice to be able to spend my food stamps on other things I need since I can get a lot from the food pantry.”

Rooted in Community. Powered by Partnership.

Project Hospitality’s work is deeply connected to the Staten Island community. Across neighborhoods and service areas, the organization partners with residents, healthcare providers, and community organizations to help strengthen the borough’s long-term health.

Every meal served, housing placement secured, counseling session provided, and family supported is made possible through community partnership.

Whether through donations, volunteerism, advocacy, or partnership, there are many ways to help strengthen our impact.
